Four members of the Kalamazoo College women's soccer team were honored with All-MIAA recognition for their performances during the 2011 season. Jackie Short and Jordan Meeth were honored with All-MIAA First Team honors while Megan Martinez and Rachel Pitzer received All-MIAA Second Team Honors.

Jackie Short, a junior from Troy (Athens HS), was named All-MIAA First Team for the second straight season. She was the team's leading scorer and league's second leading scorer, recording 19 goals and two assists in conference play for a total of 40 points. Short scored against every MIAA opponent and also tied the school record for scoring in consecutive matches by recording a goal in six straight games. Twice during the season Short was honored as the MIAA Offensive Player of the Week and also finished the season ranked second nationally in game winning goals with eight. Jordan Meeth, a sophomore from Three Rivers (Three Rivers HS), started every game at centerback for the Hornets. Meeth was recognized by the league coaches for her strong individual defending and played a major role in a defensive unit that led the league in shutouts (8). She also recorded one assist in league play.

Rachel Pitzer, a senior from Brighton (Brighton HS), and Megan Martinez, a junior from Golden, Colo. (Golden HS), were both named to the All-MIAA Second Team. Martinez was honored with second team accolades for the second straight season. Her ability to control the tempo of a game with her relentless defensive work in the midfield has been a major reason for the team's success the past several years. Pitzer was a member of the Kalamazoo backline starting 15 of 16 league contests at outside back. During week seven of league play she was named the MIAA Defensive Player of the Week. She also contributed to the Hornet offense, scoring one goal and leading the team in assists with six, all in league play. Pitzer is an all-conference honoree for the first time in her career.

Each player was a contributor to a Kalamazoo squad that finished 13-7-1 overall, the program's most wins in a season since 2001. The team finished third in the MIAA with a record of 12-4 and made a conference tournament semifinal appearance for the third straight season.
