The Kalamazoo College women's soccer team won 2-1 in overtime at Olivet on Saturday.
Kalamazoo took an early lead with a goal by C.J. McCarthy in the fifth minute (Jackie Short assist).
Olivet evened the score with a goal in the 40th minute.
The score remained tied at halftime and through the final 45 minutes of regulation.
Another 10 minutes passed wihtout a goal in the first overtime before Jackie Short scored the game-winner just over three minutes into the second overtime (McCarthy assist).
Kalamazoo outshot Olivet 28-5 overall in the game, including 19-4 on goal.
Lucy Mailing made three saves in goal for the Hornets (4-3, 2-2 MIAA).
Kalamazoo returns home to face Trine on Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m.
