The Kalamazoo College women's soccer team fell in double overtime with just over a minute to play against Calvin College Saturday afternoon at MacKenzie Field.
The Knights' Taylor Tenharmsel got behind the Kalamazoo backline with 1:36 remaining in the game and slotted the ball past a diving Grace Smith giving Calvin the 1-0 win.
Despite giving up the goal, Smith provided a strong effort in goal for the Hornets making nine saves in nearly 109 minutes of play.
Offensively, the Hornets were paced by Madison Moote who ended the match with two shots on goal.
With the loss Kalamazoo falls to 7-5-1 in the MIAA. The Hornets will hit the road this Wednesday, Oct. 21 when they travel to Alma College for a 4 p.m. match.
