KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee announced Tuesday that Hannah Wolfe of the women's soccer team was named Hornet of the Week.
In Kalamazoo's lone match of the week, the junior goalie tallied four saves while shutting out Hope College on the road to begin MIAA play. The shutout was the second of the season for Wolfe and the Hornets.
After playing all 110 minutes against Hope, Wolfe now leads the MIAA with 836 minutes played and also has a league-best 63 saves this season.
Kalamazoo continues MIAA play this week as it hosts Calvin University on Saturday, Oct. 5 for the team's first game of the season at MacKenzie Field. The game is scheduled to kick-off at 5 p.m.
