KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Libby Munoz of the women's soccer team was recognized on Tuesday by the Kalamazoo College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee as this week's Hornet of the week.
Libby put together a big week for the Hornets as she scored two goals in each of the team's two games including the game-winner against Albion. The four goals this week put her up to seven on the season which is the most on the team. She sits in a tie for fourth-most goals in the MIAA and her 15 points are fifth-best in the league.
Munoz has led Kalamazoo in scoring in each of the last two seasons. She now has 43 goals in 52 games started throughout her career.
Munoz was also named MIAA Offensive Player of the Week for her efforts. This is an award that the senior has now won three times in her career.
The Hornets wrap up their regular season this week with matches at Olivet on Wednesday before hosting Alma on Saturday.
