KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College SAAC announced Tuesday that Josie Sibley of the women's soccer team would be honored as this week's Hornet of the Week.
Josie scored Kalamazoo's only goal of the week in a 1-0 MIAA Tournament first-round victory over Calvin on Saturday. She was a consistent offensive force throughout the match as she got all three of her shot attempts on goal.
The goal was Sibley's second of the season and 13th of her career. She has also tallied two assists this year to take her season points total to six.
Sibley and the Hornets will advance to the MIAA Tournament semifinals that are scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 5 at Hope at 7 p.m.
