Munoz Named to United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Region Third Team

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The accolades continue for senior Libby Munoz as she has been named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Central Region Third Team just one week after being named to the site's All-Region Team. 

Munoz, a forward from Leland, Mich. (Leland), joins just six other MIAA women's soccer players on the Scholar All-Central Region teams as she was named to the team for the first time in her career. 

Throughout her academic career, Munoz has been named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll three times, earned the Departmental Prize in Anthropology and Sociology, was given the Maggie Wardle Prize, has been a member of Alpha Lambda Delta, and earned the Henry and Inez Brown Prize.

The senior was also honored as the MIAA Women's Soccer Senior Sportswoman of the Year following this season.

On the soccer field, she has been named to the All-MIAA First Team three times, All-Region Teams twice, and has led Kalamazoo in goals and points during each of the last three seasons. 

Munoz finished her Kalamazoo career with 103 points on 46 goals and 11 assists. She scored 12 game-winning goals throughout her career including an NCAA III leading nine game-winners during her sophomore campaign.
