ANGOLA, Ind. - The Kalamazoo College women's soccer team won 1-0 on the road against Trine on Friday afternoon for its fourth straight victory.

Freshman Destiny Garcia continued her streak of scoring at least once every game with the winning goal at 45:57 in the start of the second half, assisted by Joy Hunziker

Kalamazoo held an impressive 20-5 advantage in shots with 12 shots made on goal.

Hannah Wolfe played all 90 minutes and made four saves in goal to earn the shutout.

"Today was a tough MIAA road game," Head Coach Bryan Goyings said. "Both teams had moments today and we were able to find the goal that was the difference. Joy played an excellent ball in on the goal and Destiny was able to finish it off. Hannah Wolfe had some timely saves that were key to the shutout."

The Hornets host Hope for their next game on Monday night (April 12) at 7 p.m.

"We are excited to return home next week and the opportunity to compete against two excellent MIAA opponents."
