The Kalamazoo College women's soccer team was recently honored by the United Soccer Coaches as one of the 496 collegiate women's teams to earn the Team Academic Award. This is the 10th time in the past 11 years that the Hornets have achieved this award.
Between the men's and women's soccer teams across the nation, 807 total teams earned the honor. Along with the 496 women's teams, 311 men's teams were recognized and 181 schools with both programs were honored.
The award is given to soccer teams with a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2022-23 academic year. Kalamazoo carried a 3.67 GPA collectively throughout the school year.
