Kalamazoo College's Tristyn Edsall was selected as the MIAA Women's Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week on Monday.
Edsall, a sophomore from Kentwood (Wyoming Kelloggsville HS), earned women's Athlete of the Week by placing third in the 50-yard freestyle at the Calvin Invitational with a time of :23.61. Her time of :23.49 in prelims is currently fifth in the country. Kalamazoo finished fifth at the meet and returns to action Jan. 10 at Saginaw Valley State.
This is Edsall's first selection as Athlete of the Week.
