KALAMAZOO, MI - The Kalamazoo College women's swimming and diving team defeated Calvin 124-119 on Friday. It was a big win for a Hornet team that was just 1.5 points behind the Knights at the Calvin Invitational in December.
Kalamazoo set the tone early by winning the first two events and the first six of eight events. Calvin tried to battle back but Kalamazoo was able to clinch the win by winning the 200 Free Relay with a pool record time of 1:38.75 in the final event of the evening.
Lauren Seroka, Tristyn Edsall and Colleen Orwin each won two individual events for Kalamazoo while the Hornets were also victorious in both relays.
