KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Erin Radermacher of the Kalamazoo College women's swimming and diving team was honored Monday afternoon as the MIAA Swimmer of the Week for the second time this season.
Radermacher, a senior from Park Ridge, Ill. (Maine Twp. South), finished in the top two in each of the six events she competed in over the weekend.
On Friday, the senior won the 100 Freestyle at :53.77 and the 200 Freestyle with a time of 1:58.95. She was also a part of the 400 Freestyle Relay team that finished second at 3:42.51.
Against Calvin on Saturday, Radermacher came out on top in the 50 Freestyle at :24.73. Both relay teams that she was a part of finished second including the 200 Medley Relay (1:53.29) and the 200 Freestyle Relay (1:40.75).
Radermacher and the rest of the women's swimming and diving team will be off until Dec. 5-7 when they travel to the Calvin Invitational.
