KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Camille Misra of the Kalamazoo College women's swimming and diving team was honored Tuesday morning as the SAAC Hornet of the Week.
Camille's week was highlighted by setting a new school record in the women's 100 Backstroke during preliminary racing at the Calvin Invite. Her new record was set at a time of :57.14.
The freshman led the 200 Medley Relay team to an eighth-place finish with a :26.6 lead-off split. She was also a member of the seventh-place finishing 400 Medley Relay team with a :57.9 lead-off split.
On top of these times, Misra also participated in the 400 Freestyle Relay that finished fifth and the 200 Freestyle Relay which took seventh.
The swimming and diving teams will return to action following the New Year when they head to the Michigan Illinois Quad on Jan. 11.
