GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The 2020 MIAA Championships began Wednesday evening with one finals event (800 Free Relay) on the schedule at Calvin.
Kalamazoo's top relay finished fourth with a time of 7:57.58 (Mary Trimble, Claire Cebelak, Mya Richter, Molly Roberts).
The relay of Lizzy Silber, Olivia Anderson, Emily Tenniswood, and Kate Haywood finished 12th with a time of 8:03.48.
Kalamazoo is in fourth place with 40 points after the first night of competition.
The championships continue through Saturday with swimming prelims each morning at 10 a.m. and finals in the evening at 5:30 p.m.
