GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The 2020 MIAA Championships continued Thursday at Calvin.
Mary Trimble highlighted the evening for the women with a championship in the 500 Freestyle. Her time of 5:07.28 was nearly four seconds faster than the second-place finisher (5:11.27).
Kalamazoo finished second and third in the 3-meter Diving event with Eve Petrie finishing second (391.50) and Sarah Densham coming in third (350.40).
The 200 Free Relay team finished third with a time of 1:37.70 (Erin Radermacher, Camille Misra, Kate Haywood, Mya Richter).
The 400 Medley Relay team came in fourth at 3:59.31 (Camille Misra, Emily Tenniswood, Molly Roberts, Erin Radermacher).
Kalamazoo is in fourth place with 210 points after the second night of competition.
The championships continue through Saturday with swimming prelims each morning at 10 a.m. and finals in the evening at 5:30 p.m.
