Kalamazoo College's Eve Petrie was named MIAA Diver of the Week on Monday.
A senior from East Lansing, Mich. (East Lansing HS), Petrie finished second in both diving events in a meet with Alma and Saginaw Valley State University on Saturday. She scored 196.10 on the 3-meter and 193.30 on the 1-meter, goof for second place against SVSU and first-place points against Alma.
The Hornets defeated Alma 190-73 and were defeated 208-83 by SVSU.
This is Petrie's first MIAA Diver of the Week honor this season and fourth in her career.
The Hornets will compete at the MIAA Relays this Friday before hosting Illinois Tech in a dual meet on Saturday at 1 p.m.
