Kalamazoo College's Mary Trimble was recognized as the MIAA Women's Swimmer of the Week on Monday.
A senior from Dearborn, Mich. (Edsel B Ford HS), Trimble won two events in a home dual meet against Hope on Saturday, Feb. 5.
Trimble won the 200 Freestyle with a time of 1:56.69, her fastest time of the season and the fourth-fastest time in the MIAA this year. She also won the 500 Freestyle with a time of 5:11.80, her fastest time of the season and the third fastest in conference this season.
This is Mary's second career MIAA Swimmer of the Week honor.
The Hornets are preparing for the MIAA Championships scheduled for Feb. 16-19 at the Holland Aquatic Center.
