KALAMAZOO, MI. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team swept both its home and season opener against Baldwin Wallace 9-0 on Saturday afternoon. The Hornets are now 1-0 this season.
Sarah Woods and Sabrina Dass set the tone for the afternoon in No. 1 doubles by not dropping a point, winning 8-0. The No. 2 and 3 doubles only dropped three games combined.
Sarah Woods, Sabrina Dass and Cheryl Zhang, continued Kalamazoo's dominance only losing a game each in No. 1, 2, and 4 singles. In the No. 3, 5, and 6 matches the Hornet women only lost a combined eight games. None of the singles matches reached a third set.
Kalamazoo plays again Saturday, Feb. 2 against Ohio Wesleyan.
