KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team was defeated 9-0 at home by Case Western Reserve University on Sunday.
The visiting Spartans entered the match ranked No. 29 in the nation and No. 7 in the region.
Case won the three doubles matches before winning the six singles matches in straight sets.
Bella Russo and Meghan Killmaster had the closest match in doubles falling 8-4 at three.
Sophie Zhuang won the most games in singles in a 6-4, 6-2 loss at four.
Kalamazoo is back home next Saturday, Feb. 22 at 2 p.m. against Wooster.
