Caroline Norton was named SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) Women's Hornet of the Week on Tuesday. She was also named MIAA Women's Tennis Player of the Week on Monday.
A senior from Ann Arbor, Mich. (Skyline), Norton went undefeated on the week (4-0) with two wins in singles and two wins in doubles.
In an 8-1 win over Calvin, Norton teamed up with Renee Torres for an 8-7(4) win at one doubles. She then won 6-0, 6-3 at one singles.
In a 5-4 loss to regionally-ranked Wheaton, Norton and Torres won 8-6 at one doubles. Norton then won a lengthy match at one singles, 7-5, 4-6, 6-4.
The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team is back in action at home on Tuesday, April 5 against Alma at 4 p.m.
