ORLANDO, Fla. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team was defeated 8-1 by DePauw University at the USTA National Campus on Sunday.
DePauw won all three doubles matches, including a narrow 8-7(4) win over Eleni Bougioukou/Molly Stevison at three.
Soussana Kimbouris won the only match for Kalamazoo on the day, 6-4, 6-4, at six singles.
Maddie Hurley won the first set 7-5 at two singles, but eventually fell 5-7, 6-0, 10-8. Eleni Bougioukou won the first set 6-4 at three singles but also eventually fell 4-6, 6-0, 6-3.
Kalamazoo's final match of the spring trip is scheduled for Wednesday, March 27, at 12:30 p.m. against Whitworth.
