KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team defeated Trine University 9-0 in the regular season finale on Saturday at Stowe Stadium.
Kalamazoo won the three doubles matches followed by all six singles matches.
Juliana Pullen/Maddie Hurley won 8-2 at one doubles. Ivy Walker/Olivia Wolfe won 8-3 at two. Soussana Kimbouris/Molly Stevison won 8-4 at three.
Pullen lost just one game in singles, winning 6-1, 6-0 at one. Hurley won 6-1, 6-1 at two.
Eleni Bougioukou won 6-2, 1-6, 6-3 at three. Walker won 6-0, 6-2 at four. Stevison won 6-4, 6-0 at five. Wolfe won 6-1, 6-3 at six.
Kalamazoo finishes the regular season 9-9 overall and in fourth place in the MIAA with a 5-3 league record. The Hornets will travel to Hope for an MIAA Tournament semifinal on Thursday, May 2. Official pairings and times will be announced by the league on Sunday.
