The Kalamazoo College volleyball team was defeated 3-0 at home by No. 3 Calvin on Friday.
After falling 25-9 in the first set, the Hornets battled to a 25-18 loss in the second set. Calvin closed out the match with a 25-11 in the third set.
Kelsey Hill led Kalamazoo with eight kills. Nya Greenstone had four kills with seven digs. Quinn McCormick had three kills.
Alex Gothard had 14 assists for Kalamazoo while Allison Liddane had eight digs.
Kalamazoo returns to action on Saturday with an 11 a.m. match at Hope. The Hornets are also scheduled to face Chicago at 1 p.m. at Hope.
