Volleyball falls to Hanover, Rose-Hulman

The Kalamazoo College volleyball team lost a pair of matches at the DePauw Invitational on Friday.

In the opener, Kalamazoo fell to Hanover 25-14, 25-23, 25-22.

Nya Greenstone led Kalamazoo with 12 kills and eight digs. Quinn McCormick had seven kills while Kelsey Hill added six kills.

Alex Gothard had 26 assists with six digs. Camryn Romph led the team with 14 digs while Allison Liddane recorded 11 digs.

Kalamazoo's second match of the day went four sets, but the Hornets remained on the losing end against Rose-Hulman 27-25, 12-25, 25-19, 25-17.

Johanna Kupe led Kalamazoo with 15 kills. Nya Greenstone had 13 kills while Kelsey Hill had eight and Quinn McCormick had six.

Alex Gothard had 37 assists with 15 digs.

Allison Liddane had a team-high 19 digs with five service aces. Camryn Romph had 12 digs.

Kalamazoo returns to action Saturday morning with a 10 a.m. match against DePauw. The Hornets play their final match of the tournament at noon against Millikin.
