WOOSTER, Ohio - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team split a pair of non-conference matches at the Wooster Kilt Classic on Saturday.
Kalamazoo opened the day with a five-set victory over Bluffton. The teams split the first four sets before Kalamazoo claimed victory with a 15-9 win in the fifth set.
Kelsey Hill led Kalamazoo with 12 kills and a .417 attack percentage. Nya Greenstone added 11 kills with 16 digs. Kaela Van Til had 10 kills with 10 digs.
Alex Gothard had 39 assists with 16 digs and three blocks. Logan Horejsi had 31 digs.
Kalamazoo played a tight match with Wooster, but the Hornets were not as fortunate as they were narrowly defeated 25-23, 25-19, 25-23 in three sets.
Greenstone led the Hornets with 13 kills and 11 digs. Van Til had nine kills while Hill finished with six.
Gothard had 24 assists while Horejsi finished with 18 digs.
Following the tournament, Logan Horejsi was selected to the All-Tournament Team.
