Volleyball falls at No. 4 Calvin

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team was defeated in three sets at No. 4 Calvin College on Tuesday.

Kalamazoo gave the host Knights a battle in the first set as the Hornets led 16-15. Calvin went on a 7-0 run, however, and won the set 25-20. Calvin won the final two sets, 25-9 and 25-16.

Nya Greenstone led Kalamazoo with 11 kills and five digs.

Kelsey Hill and Kaela Van Til each had six kills. 

Alex Gothard had 23 assists and six digs while Logan Horejsi had 18 digs.

Kalamazoo returns home to face Saint Mary's at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18.
