Volleyball continues play Saturday at Bluffton

BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team continued play Saturday at the Bluffton Sommer Center Spiketacular.

Kalamazoo began Saturday with a 3-0 loss to DePauw (25-16, 25-14, 25-17). 

Maria Katrantzi led Kalamazoo with eight kills and five digs.

Kaiya Herman-Hilker had 19 assists while Taylor Ferguson recorded 19 digs.

Kalamazoo lost its final match of the tournament 3-0 to Bluffton Saturday afternoon (25-22, 25-16, 25-21). 

Katrantzi again led the way with 11 kills while also recording 16 digs. Vanessa Vigier posted 10 kills with nine digs and Shelby Suseland had nine kills.

Herman-Hilker had 30 assists while Taylor Ferguson had 21 digs.

Ferguson was named to the All-Tournament team at the end of the tournament.

Kalamazoo returns to action Wednesday, Sept. 6 at home against Adrian.
