OLIVET, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team lost its MIAA opener in four sets at Olivet on Tuesday.
After losing the first two sets (25-17, 25-22), Kalamazoo fought back to win the third, 25-16, but Olivet was able to win the fourth set narrowly 27-25.
Madi Goodman led Kalamazoo with 14 kills and three blocks.
Rachel Girard had 10 kills with 14 digs. Shelby Suseland also had 10 kills with four service aces.
Grace Kraft recorded 23 assists while Zoey Ammon had 19 assists and 11 digs. Maddie Wojcik led the team with 21 digs.
Kalamazoo returns home to face Illinois Tech in non-conference play Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 8 p.m.
