Volleyball Plays at Illinois Tech

CHICAGO, Ill. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team played a pair of non-conference games at Illinois Tech on Saturday.

Kalamazoo vs. Dominican

Dominican won in three sets while winning the final two sets each by a score of 25-23.

Megan Williams led Kalamazoo with eight kills. Madi Goodman had seven, Rachel Girard six and Shelby Suseland five.

Zoey Ammon recorded 22 assist while Maddie Wojcik and Sophie Woodhams each had nine digs.

Kalamazoo vs. Illinois Tech

Kalamazoo lost in four sets in a competitive match to end the weekend. Kalamazoo won the first set 25-23 before dropping the next three 25-18, 30-28, 25-21.

Rachel Girard led the Hornets with 15 kills. Shelby Suseland had 14 while Madi Goodman added 12 with a .333 attack percentage.

Zoey Ammon had 39 assists while Maddie Wojcik had 28 digs. Vanessa Vigier had 17 digs while Sophie Woodhams and Kelly Nickelson each had 13.

Kalamazoo returns to league play with a match at Albion on Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m.
