KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Taylor Ferguson was chosen by the Kalamazoo College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee as the Hornet of the Week for her efforts during week three of the fall season.
In Kalamazoo's four matches throughout the week, the defensive specialist tallied 82 digs as she collected more than 20 in three of four matches. The junior also added four more service aces to her season total.
Ferguson now sits in second in the MIAA in digs with 183 which is just seven behind the league-leader. Her 32 service aces lead the conference along with her 0.71 service aces per set average.
The Hornets return to play on Wednesday, Sept. 18 as they host Manchester at 7 p.m. for their home opener.
