The seniors on the 2020-2021 Kalamazoo College volleyball team have selected their Most Valuable Professors to recognize this season.
The Hornets selected Dr. Siu-Lan Tan and Dr. Blaine Moore. Both professors have now received MVP honors more than once this year.
Senior Madi Goodman selected Dr. Siu-Lan Tan from the Psychology Department to recognize as her MVP. She appreciates Dr. Tan's level of care and understanding in enhancing the learning experience for her students. Dr. Tan's efforts in transitioning class into an online format did not go unnoticed by Madi. She is grateful for Dr. Tan's contagious creativity and passion.
Dr. Blaine Moore from the Biology Department was selected by senior Taylor Ferguson. She admires Dr. Moore's passion for the subject matter. His teaching methods helped Taylor to understand biology differently than she had before and kept her engaged in every class, ultimately pushing her towards a career in biology. She is grateful for the rewarding experience of being a student of Dr. Moore's.
