Volleyball Sweeps Trine in Home Finale

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team defeated Trine three sets in the Hornets' final home game of the season Monday.

Kalamazoo outlasted Trine 35-33 in the first set, won 25-22 in the second set, and finished it off with a 27-25 win in set three.

Kalamazoo hit .162 in the match compared to .083 by Trine.

Madi Goodman led the Hornets with 15 kills and a season-best .387 attack percentage. 

McKenna Hepler finished with nine kills, eight digs, and three aces. Lindsey Nedd had eight kills with eight digs. Megan Williams also had eight digs with four kills.

Rorie Dougherty led the Hornets with 34 assists and nine digs.

Kalamazoo is scheduled to finish the regular season at Alma on Tuesday, April 13 at 7 p.m.
