SAINT MARY OF THE WOODS, Ind. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball split a pair of matches Saturday to finish 2-2 at the Showdown in the Woods hosted by Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College Friday and Saturday.

Kalamazoo vs. Saint Mary-of-the-Woods

Kalamazoo was defeated Saturday morning by the host 25-14, 25-19, 25-21.

Charlotte Ruiter led Kalamazoo with seven kills. Taylor Stephens and Brittany Miller each had six.

Rorie Dougherty had eight assists. Sara Reathaford finished with seven assists.

Halley Johnson had seven digs. Lizzy Rachiele had six. Rachel Meston finished with five.

Kalamazoo vs. Brescia

Kalamazoo defeated Brescia University 25-21, 25-20, 25-23 in the Hornets' final match of the tournament.

Brittany Miller led K with nine kills. Halley Johnson had six.

Jana Molby posted 15 assists. Sara Reathaford had 14.

Lizzy Rachiele finished with 13 digs. Morgan Shearer had 10.
