The Kalamazoo College men's and women's cross country teams were selected as U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic Teams for the 2023 season. This is the fifth consecutive season that both cross country programs have earned this distinction.
Programs must, among other qualifiers, achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.1 or better on a 4.0 grading scale, including the most recent grading period.
The Kalamazoo women's program boasted a 3.48 team GPA last term, while the men ended the term with a 3.22 team GPA.
Kalamazoo is one of 194 men's and 234 women's teams in NCAA Division III that earned the All-Academic Team honors.
In addition, the women's program had three individuals recognized as an All-Academic Athlete for maintaining at least a 3.30 GPA and finishing in the top 25 percent at the regional championship meet. Paige Anderson, Alison Hankins, and Alisa Mason were among the 396 women who accomplished this feat.
