CLERMONT, Fla. - The Kalamazoo College softball team lost a pair of games in Florida on Monday, 3-0 to Luther and 9-4 to Lawrence.

Game One

Luther, ranked No. 7 in NCAA Division III, scored a pair of runs in the first inning and an insurance run in the third while holding Kalamazoo scoreless. The Hornets threatened to score in the third, sixth and seventh innings, but were unable to push a run across.

Game Two

Kalamazoo scored three runs in the first inning, but Lawrence scored twice in the bottom half and added two more in the third. Kalamazoo trailed 5-4 after five innings before a four-run sixth by Lawrence seemingly put the game out of reach.

Isabella Kirck and Angelia Evangelista each went 3-for-4 in the game. Hannah Pipkin, Nori Seita, Hayleigh Alamo, Megan Malish and Andrea MacMichael each had one hit.

The Hornets play their final two games in Florida on Tuesday beginning with Worcester St. followed by Rochester Institute of Technology.
