Women's Basketball Falls at Albion

ALBION, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team lost 93-39 at Albion College on Wednesday.

Kalamazoo trailed by just two (11-9) with 2:38 left in the first quarter before a 9-2 run by Albion put the Britons on top 20-11. 

Kalamazoo trailed by six (22-16) early in the second quarter, but Albion began pulling away and took a 52-18 lead into halftime.

Albion shot 47.1 percent overall compared to 25.8 percent for Kalamazoo. The Britons held a 58-28 advantage in rebounds, including 24-12 on the offensive end.

Georgie Andrews led the Hornets with 10 points, six rebounds, and three assists.

Darby Scott scored eight points while Kaytlyn Tidey finished with six.

The Hornets return home for the season finale against Trine on Saturday, Feb. 16 at 3 p.m.
