Women's Lacrosse falls at home to Albion

KALAMAZOO, MI - The Kalamazoo College women's lacrosse team was defeated 18-8 by Albion College on Wednesday evening. The Hornets are now 4-6 overall and 2-2 in MIAA play.

Kalamazoo fell behind early in the game and trailed 10-5 at halftime. In the second half the Hornets were also outscored by five, but this time it was 8-3.

Anika Sproull led all Hornet scorers with three goals. Nicole Huff had two goals while Vethania Stavropoulos, Alivia DuQuet, and Anna Dairaghi each also added a goal.

Katie Johnson was very solid in goal, and saved fourteen shots. Unfortunately there was just too many shots coming from the Briton's side.

Kalamazoo plays its next game Saturday, Apr. 18 at Olivet.
