HOLLAND, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's lacrosse team lost its season finale 20-8 at Hope Saturday afternoon.
The Flying Dutch scored the first 10 goals of the game before leading 11-3 at the end of the first quarter. Hope led 16-3 at halftime. Both teams scored a pair of goals in the third. Kalamazoo outscored Hope 3-2 in the fourth.
Hope outshot Kalamazoo 37-17 overall, 28-15 on goal.
Abbie Caza led the Hornets with four goals and two assists.
Hannah Heeren scored four goals with six draw controls. Jordan Doyle was credited with three assists.
