The Kalamazoo College women's soccer team defeated Adrian 2-0 on the road Saturday afternoon to improve to 6-1-1 this season, and 3-1-1 in conference play.
The Hornets were able to outshoot the Bulldogs (10-2) in shots on goal. Lucy Mailing gave up no goals for the sixth time this season to help Kalamazoo to another shutout.
"Our defense did a tremendous job of limiting the opponent's offensive chances throughout the match," said head coach Bryan Goyings.
The offense for Kalamazoo was provided by Madeleine Chilcote and Emma Tardiff who both scored goals. Rachel Dandar and Katie Sorensen also contributed offensively with an assist each in the match.
Kalamazoo will have another tough conference test on the road Saturday, Sept. 27 when they play at Calvin.
