ALMA, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's soccer team came up empty handed Wednesday afternoon falling to Alma College 2-0 on the road in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association action.

The Scots took advantage of the few chances they had scoring two goals with just four shots on frame.

Whitnee Foote scored in the 28th minute while Taylor Roberts added the second goal of the day for the Scots in the 34th minute.

Despite placing 12 shots on goal, the Hornets were unable to breakthrough and find their way onto the scoreboard.

Sarah George led the way in the attacking third recording four shots on frame. Madison Moote added three more for K while Sydney Spring had two.

With the loss, Kalamazoo sits in fourth place in the MIAA, the final spot to qualify for the league's postseason tournament. The Hornets will head home to MacKenzie Field this weekend for homecoming as they welcome Adrian College to Kalamazoo. K will play its final three games of the regular season at home. Saturday's kickoff is slated for 2:30 p.m.
