KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team defeated Illinois Tech 7-2 inside the Markin Center on Saturday.
Kalamazoo won two of the three doubles matches before winning five of the six singles matches.
Sonal Bahl/Ella Knight won 8-3 at two doubles while Maddy Winarski/Helen Pelak won 8-2 at three.
Pelak (3), Caroline Norton (4), Bahl (5), and Knight (6) won in straight sets in singles. Winarski won 6-4, 6-7(4), 6-1 at two singles.
Kalamazoo returns to action March 23-24 with a pair of matches in Oregon.
