Green Hornet Invitational Sustainability Highlights

The Green Hornet Invitational will reflect the sustainable practices at Kalamazoo College which have been reinforced with the signing of the President’s Climate Commitment in 2007: http://www.presidentsclimatecommitment.org/
And will reflect the values in the following ways throughout the tournament:

• No paper programs will be available; rosters and brackets will be on posters in the lobby.
• We will not sell plastic water bottles nor allow them in the gym. Participants will all receive a metal water bottle and tap water will be available throughout the gym during the tournament for participants and fans alike. Fans are asked to bring a water bottle, or they may purchase one in the lobby. The Hornets will be practicing a tap water initiative during the entire season.
• Tournament trophies will be made out of recycled materials by Kalamazoo College volleyball alum Colleen Leonard '12.
