Volleyball falls to No. 1 Hope

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team lost in three sets to No. 1 Hope College on Wednesday.

Hope won the first two sets, 25-15 and 25-16, but trailed Kalamazoo early in the third set. The Hornets went up 9-7 and were still on top at 11-10, but the Flying Dutch rallied and scored 13 of the next 14 points and finished the match off with a 15-3 run (25-13).

Nya Greenstone led Kalamazoo with seven kills and nine digs. Kaela Van Til finished with five kills.

Alex Gothard had 17 assists with six digs. Logan Horejsi had 15 digs.

Kalamazoo returns to action this weekend at the University of Chicago Gargoyle Classic.
