Jackson Jones was named to the 2021 NCAA Division III PING All-Region Team as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America on Thursday.
Jones is one of 15 golfers in the Great Lakes Region selected and one of just four from the MIAA. Jones is the first Hornet ever to earn All-Region honors twice in a career.
Jones led the Hornets with a 74.6 average this spring, shooting a season-best 72 multiple times. He earned medalist honors with a 72 at the last MIAA Jamboree of the season at PohlCat (Alma) while also helping the Hornets win the event.
An All-MIAA First Team selection each of the last two seasons, Jones is the Hornets' career leader in scoring with a 74.7 average. He also holds the single-season record of 73.5 set last year.
Kalamazoo finished fourth or higher in the MIAA during each of Jones' four years on the team, including fourth place this spring.
