Men's Lacrosse wins 8-5 at Olivet

OLIVET, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's lacrosse team won 8-5 at Olivet on Saturday. It was the second consecutive win for the Hornets who are now 2-1 in the MIAA.

Olivet scored the only goal of the first quarter and led 4-3 at halftime.

The Comets scored 17 seconds into the third quarter to take a 5-3 lead, but the Hornets scored five unanswered goals to win the game. Kalamazoo scored four in the third and one in the fourth while holding Olivet scoreless over the final 29 minutes and 43 seconds of the game.

Brandon Wright led Kalamazoo with three goals and one assist. Jack Smith scored two goals and assisted on the game-winning goal by Harrison Ramsey. Jake Bonifacio had two assists in the game.

Tim Grobosky was credited with 11 saves in goal.

Kalamazoo returns to action at home against Trine on Wednesday, April 18 at 7 p.m.
