Men's Lacrosse Senior Recognition

The COVID-19 pandemic put an unexpected and early end to the 2020 spring seasons. As a result, traditional Senior Days were also canceled for spring sports. Please join us in recognizing and honoring our senior student-athletes through the tribute written by their coach below.


Kalamazoo College Men's Lacrosse would like to recognize seniors Harrison Ramsey, Nate Silverman, Doug Shipp, Dylan Regling, and Jacob Pink for their dedication to the growth and success of the program.

Harrison Ramsey came to Kalamazoo College from Okemos, Michigan. A biology major with a minor in philosophy, Harrison's Senior Individualized Project is titled "Novel Mutation in Phosphodiesterase 6B Causes Progressive Retinal Atrophy in Spanish Water Dogs." Harrison is a three-year captain for the men's lacrosse program; a co-director for Premium Orange, one of the College's a capella teams, and a multi-term member of Kalamazoo's Dean's List. In the fall, Harrison will begin veterinary school at the Ohio State's College of Veterinary Medicine.

Nate Silverman came to Kalamazoo College from Ann Arbor, Michigan. A computer science major, Nate's Senior Individualized Project is titled "Parallel Computing Made Easy." A senior captain, Nate is a multi-term member of the college's Dean's List. After graduation, Nate will pursue a career in the technology industry.

Doug Shipp came to Kalamazoo College from Ann Arbor, Michigan. A computer science major, Doug's Senior Individualized Project is titled "Web Scraping Techniques and Applications." After graduation, Doug has accepted a job offer with Atomic Object, a software development company in Ann Arbor.

Doug would like to thank his parents, Kim and Royce, as well as his siblings: Dominic, Gianna, and Gabriella. 

Dylan Regling came to Kalamazoo College from Lapeer, Michigan. A physics major and member of Kalamazoo's 3-2 Engineering program, Dylan plans to finish his engineering degree at either the University of Michigan-Dearborn or Oakland University.

Dylan would like to thank his mother, Andrea.

Jacob Pink came to Kalamazoo College from Santa Monica, California. A biology major, Jacob's Senior Individualized Project is titled "Determining Effectiveness of Non-Surgical Skin Tightening." Jacob was a senior walk-on this year after playing three years of varsity soccer at Kalamazoo. After graduation, Jacob plans to take a gap year before applying to medical school.
