KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team defeated Oberlin College 6-3 inside the Markin Center on Saturday.
Kalamazoo won two doubles matches and four singles matches to claim the win.
Peter Fitzgerald/Gabe Vidinas won 8-5 at one doubles. Casey Johnson/Adnan Alousi won 8-2 at two doubles.
Vidinas picked up a three-set win at one singles, 6-4, 4-6, 6-0. Fitzgerald (two), Alousi (three) and Louis Landreau (five) each won in straight sets.
Casey Johnson lost narrowly at four singles, 7-6(5), 7-5. Tieran Rafferty also had a narrow loss at six singles, 6-4, 3-6, 10-7.
The Hornets are back in action next Sunday, Feb. 19, at Wisconsin-Whitewater.
