Sproull scores 100th career point in win at Saint Mary's

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The Kalamazoo College women's lacrosse team defeated the Belles of Saint Mary's College 11-7 tonight. The Hornets improved to 3-4 in the conference and 5-8 overall.

Going into halftime the Hornets were tied with the Belles 4-4. The second half proved to be a different story, however. Kalamazoo was able to add seven more goals in the second half, while only allowing the Belles to take nine shots and score three goals.

Vethania Stavropoulos and Anika Sproull led the team in scoring with three goals apiece. Alivia DuQuet added two goals and Anna Dairaghi, Nicole Huff, and Daria Lewis each recorded one goal on the night. Katie Johnson had another great night in the net, only allowing seven goals on 19 shots.

Anika Sproull recorded her 100th career point this evening. Sproull now has 103 total points compiled of 93 goals and 10 assists in her first two seasons at Kalamazoo College.

Kalamazoo has its last regular season game on Saturday, April 25th at 1 p.m. at MacKenzie Field, on the campus of Kalamazoo College.
