ELMHURST, Ill. - The Kalamazoo College women's lacrosse team won 20-0 at Elmhurst College on Sunday.
Kalamazoo scored its first goal 56 seconds into the contest and led 9-0 just over nine minutes into the game. The Hornets took a 13-0 lead into halftime.
Kalamazoo outshot Elmhurst 28-2 overall including 25-1 on goal. The Hornets won 20 of the 21 draws.
Rachel Madar led Kalamazoo with six goals and one assist.
Lilly Baumann scored five times while Leah Tardiff scored four goals with one assist.
Rose Bogard tied the school record for the second consecutive day with five assists while also collecting four ground balls.
Kalamazoo is back in action next Saturday, March 7 at Mount Union.
