ADRIAN, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team was defeated in three sets at Adrian College Wednesday night, 25-15, 25-17, 25-15.
The host Bulldogs hit .248 in the match, while limiting the Hornets to .039.
Savannah Chapie led Kalamazoo with eight kills and a .313 hitting percentage.
Halley Johnson, Toni Koshmider and Brittany Miller each had four kills.
Rorie Dougherty led the Hornets with 12 assists. Jana Molby added eight.
Lizzy Rachiele had a team-high 13 digs. Halley Johnson finished with 10.
Kalamazoo returns home to face Wheaton College in a non-conference match Saturday, Oct. 21, at 1 p.m.
